For centuries it has been man’s custom to give a diamond ring as the token of his love and symbol of engagement. And this custom is as timelessly fresh as love itself. To carry such a tender message, your diamond should be chosen with care, for it will be treasured always.
For most people, buying a diamond is a new experience, but that doesn’t mean it should be overwhelming. Understanding a diamond’s quality characteristics is straightforward and simple.
The Four C’s
Cut Colour Clarity Carat Weight
All of the four C’s contribute to the value of a diamond.
Almost all diamonds have tiny imperfections diamonds with few or no imperfections receive the highest clarity grades.
The cut of a diamond determines it’s brilliance. The better a diamond is cut, the more sparkle it will have.
This is the term with which people are most familiar. The Carat is specifically a measure of a diamond’s weight.
A diamond’s colour grade actually refers to the lack of colour. In other words, diamond’s that are white, containing little or no colour, receive higher quality grades than those with visible colour.
Our Diamonds are pre-selected for exceptional quality, the cut, colour and clarity of our stones are evaluated based on a standardised grading scale.
